This evidence-based suicide prevention training will train individuals to identify suicidal behaviors and save lives through innovative, practical, and proven strategies for recognizing the signs of crisis. You can learn more about this training here.

About QPR Trainings:

Just like CPR, QPR is an emergency response to someone in crisis and can saves lives. QPR is the most widely taught Gatekeeper training in the world. QPR is typically held for groups of 25 or less over a 1-to-2-hour session. Each participant who fully completes the training will be a certified QPR Gatekeeper for two years.

Cost: Various partner agencies throughout the tri-county area provide this training. Most of the time this training can be provided at low cost, or at no-cost, depending on grant funds available. If you are interested in a training please complete the training request form and someone will be in touch with you shortly.

Who Should Take the QPR Training?

  • We recommend anyone age 18 and older
  • Healthcare workers, clinical staff, parents/caregivers, teachers, first responders, faith leaders, school staff.... everyone should take this training
